We cut a hole in fence last year and soon noticed a hedgehog coming to feed, we built a sturdy shelter for him over winter but dont think he took residence there. Have started putting supplies out for him again and he has been back on video and has been taking leaves into the shelter so fingers crossed for some young maybe?
    Very pleased

    Hi decepticon

Glad to hear the hog is back. Good that the hog is interested in the hog house. Sometimes they won’t use them until they become ‘part of the furniture’. It helps if you have a lot of potential nesting material nearby. Materials of choice are medium sized leaves, but also long grasses.

Fingers crossed for some hoglets later on!

    Meanwhile, happy hog watching!
