We’ve found a clean and convenient way of storing/serving up wet dog food to our two visiting hogs. The dog food we buy is a chicken and veg mix which comes in the foil square containers. After opening and dishing up the first portion we divide the remainder up into a couple of old ice cube trays, pop them into storage bags and into the freezer.

Each morning we pop a couple of frozen cubes of dog food out of a tray into one hog dish in the feeding station, and top the other two dishes up with cat biscuits and water. The frozen cubes defrost through the day ready for their evening meal.

Two hogs visiting every night at the moment. We think we have a male and a female, and one of them has built a nest in one of the houses. Fingers Crossed!

    Hi Roadhog

The food thing sounds a good idea. Good to hear there are both male and female hogs there. Let us know if any hoglets appear!
