I live in Old Felixstowe, and have a blind alleyway running along the back of all the houses in the street, and it dog legs around our back fence to run the length of two more back yards. There is absolutely no traffic of any sort in the lane. Foot or otherwise.
Anyway, I have a wild life camera that I’ve been leaving out in the lane way. And there’s a fascinating hedgehog bustling about in the middle of the night. Quite regular it seems. Got it all on short videos as it trips the sensors.

Just thought it would be interesting to report.

    Hi Robert,

That’s brilliant that there’s been a hog in the lane. Do you have a garden which hogs can access as well? If there are gardens, now you know that there are hogs around, it would be really good if you could persuade everyone to have hog holes in their fences, to give the hogs access to extra habitat.

Good luck. Hope you get lots more sightings. Happy hog watching.
