A hedgehog seems to be living in our garden or next door neighbours. Sighting of hedgehog on our driveway on 28th June in Ringwood, Hampshire. Haven’t seen it since but have been leaving water and food out of him/her and so has neighbour.

    Hi Emily333

It’s good to hear you have had a hedgehog visiting. Food and water will be really helpful for them, especially in this hot dry weather we’ve been having. I’m guessing you already know what to feed, but in case not – cat/dog food, cat/kitten biscuits or hedgehog food and nothing else. Especially don’t feed mealworms as they are bad for them. It’s a good idea to leave water available 24 hours a day in this weather. A thirsty hog could venture out in the day time and it could be a lifesaver.

Good luck with the hedgehog(s) and happy hog watching!
