    Hi everyone

You might have heard about the City Nature Challenge, a global competition between cities to records as many wildlife sightings as possible between 27-30 April 2018. I’m a Wildlife Survey Team Leader for the Bristol & Bath region #TeamMammal (we’re covering South Gloucestershire and North Somerset too). It’s going to be a brilliant way for enthusiastic naturalists to group-up and generate valuable data on our native wildlife while having lots of fun.

I’m on the hunt for some people who already have a bit of mammal survey experience who might like do some surveying for hedgehogs (there are separate, public events going on). You might already have a hog hotspot in mind. If you do, please message me at teammammal@bnhc.org.uk or join the Facebook group. It’s a really great way to meet other enthusiasts.

(And if you’re not Bristol & Bath, I’m not going to stop you from competing for your local city 😉 Hey, it’s all in a good cause!)
