We have four hedgehogs visiting our garden to feed. We have been filming and sharing the video’s with the grandchildren. We had two hedgehog watch sleepovers, one family per night for two weekends.
The grandchildren prepared the dishes making sure they were clean. Filled up the water bowls and the hedgehog food bowls. We then settled in our beds with the tent doors open. Even the 3 year old was quiet with expectation. We were not disappointed. The hedgehogs didn’t do much pushing off food bowls. The one night one little hedgehog came up to the tent doorway and inspected us. Today I printed off your hedgehog certificate popped them in an envelope posting them through the door, one for each family.

    Hi Applesandpears

That’s a brilliant idea and great encouragement to your grandchildren to become interested in hedgehogs. Well done to the little hedgehog, too, for playing its part!
