Hedgehogs disappeared from neighbourhood

I have not seen any hedgehogs or evidence of hedgehogs in my garden since 25 April. Before they were regular visitors. I am really concerned. Any thoughts ?
Try not to worry too much, I had a long spell where ours disappeared quite a few weeks, they only reappeared very recently I’ve seen 3 different ones so far, they come a couple of nights at sensible times but then last night not till past my bed time. I hadn’t seen any casualties at all.
Think they’re busy off doing spring time things!! Hopefully yours will reappear just keep putting food and water out in case.
