A hedgehog has been visiting my garden most nights this week. I put out hedgehog food and water each night and have watched it feeding. It was interesting to watch it climbing up onto my rockery. I hadn’t realised how easily it was able to climb up quite large sandstone rocks. It seemed quite tame and continued to eat and potter about my garden whilst I stood at my back door watching it.
I have some photos and a video but am not sure how to load it on here. 🤔

Hello Harry Dog, to put photo’s on this site got to Gallery and it says upload photo. To put video on go to My Hedgehog Street and on the drop down menu click on your hedgehog video’s and it will give you info of what to do, good luck.

    Hi Harry Dog

Glad to hear you are enjoying watching the hedgehog. Yes, a lot of people are surprised at how well they can climb. They don’t have very good eyesight, so if you are quiet and still, some seem to pretty much ignore people. But there are also quite a few hogs around these days which may have spent some time ‘in care’ (possibly youngsters who were not heavy enough and needed to be over-wintered) and some of those may have become more accustomed to people.

Once you have got your video onto the Hedgehog Street YouTube https://www.hedgehogstreet.org/do-you-have-any-hedgehog-videos/
I think you should be able to put a link for it on here.

Good luck and happy hog watching!
