Hello. Tonight I have 2 hedgehogs in my front garden, not hidden by any means, just in plain sight. 1 of which has been curled into a ball for around 2 hours with some white foam nearby.. the other has been with it for the whole time but has started to nudge at it and dance around a little (like jumping).
Does it need help? Is it normal? I don’t want to interfere with anything. They have a house nearby with food water etc.

Looking at the time of your post I’m assuming this is at night?
It sounds like mating behavior, except normally the female would be up and huffing not curled up.
Did they move off? If either are still there then you need to contact your local carer – you can get the number for the BHPS on the front page here
