    Hello everyone
So a few days ago I noticed some animal droppings in my garden and using the internet discovered I had hedgehogs visiting me at night so yesterday I built them a house and stocked it with water and some food and tonight I just see three hedgehogs in my garden one adult and two hoglets. Iam over the moon.
    Thanks.

Well done, and you acted so quickly. Sounds like you are hooked already, but you are not alone in that respect.
Is the time of year now where they will need to put on a good weight for hibernation. Some may have already started.
Keep up the good work, and thanks for helping these wonderful creatures.

    Willpar.

Hi, I had my first sighting of a hedgehog outside my back door 2 nights ago. We moved here in March 2017. We live in a village surrounded by woods. I keep chickens and am reluctant to put out cat biscuits because I don’t want to encourage foxes into the garden. Any tips?

    HI Lythamcats,

My suspicion is that foxes would be FAR more interested in your chickens than in a few cat biscuits so if they’re about they will be attracted anyway. Having said that, if you want to feed the hoggies then put their food in some form of small fox proof structure that the hogs can enter but nothing bigger. The hedgehogs will find it, they just do, however well hidden it is.
