Hi We have made a house for our hog ,now I have noticed that the entrance to the hog house has been sealed up by grass and leaves ,and it looks like it has been done from inside the house ,my question is do they do this when hibernating .

    Hi speedbird10

Yes, hogs will completely fill the box with nesting material except for a hog sized hollow in the middle. They have a little tunnel, but will ‘close the door’ behind them. Sounds as if you may well have a hibernating hog there – that is if there are no signs of it going in and out.
