We have a Lady hog living in our front garden. We took her to vets today as has poorly leg & bad tick problem. Took about 10 ticks of her & had antibiotic injection, leg is to be x-rayed to check it. She can still move fast & is 1.3kg, she also loves wandering in our back garden, I hope she still appears as usual tonight & she hasn’t moved out because we had her checked out at the vets. I love Hogs & all wildlife.

    Hi Snuffels

Well done for taking the hog to the vet. She sounds pretty heavy. Did the vets mention whether she might be pregnant?

Hopefully she won’t hold it against you too much and if she isn’t back tonight, will be soon. Getting attached to wild animals can be very worrying at times! Good luck and let us know how she gets on.
