Our hedgie has recently come out of hibernation. We have recently made a feeding station to keep the hedgie food dry and mainly to stop cats eating it. We just used an old washing up bowl, cut a hole for hedgie to get in, turned it over and put a brick on the top to stop it from moving. It works brilliantly and is a good way to recycle an old plastic bowl.

That sounds brilliant, Hogloopy. And having less height would deter cats, even if they managed to negotiate the entrance, I would have thought. Really good use of an old washing up bowl!
