Hi all, I was outside tonight when some children started screaming in their garden any going yuck! One said it was a hedgehog, mother shooed them inside, heard someone being told to calm down. These poor creatures now have 4 houses together with dogs. Where it was found have a mini scottie it’s constantly snappy, I have had to report it as it was running around loose, snapping at people’s heals and running into the road. My guess is its the greyhound next door to the scottie. I think its been a racer. It got out a few weeks ago, ran through my neighbours garden then into mine where I saw 4 of my neighbours cats running for their lives. It was actually wearing a white coat with blue lines on it. I would do a leaflet drop if I wasn’t strictly isolating! Before we know it the hogs will all be gone, I’ve noticed all the hedges have holes in (made by hogs into their gardens. I’ve shed a few tears tonight. Looks like it’s not going to be a good hog year here.

Sounds terrible hope you feel better, remember that things like that happen and sadly there is little to nothing you can do about them.

Hi FuzzyG, thanks, no, not a lot I can do, but I can damn well try. I have now reported the little dog for the fourth time, this time with some video evidence from someone off face book who has filmed it running around with no lead on and running into the road twice. My councillor has now asked to be kept informed of all progress. The tied up dog has come to some mishap last night as well, the owner seems to have found it today bleeding from several places. What the H is going on these days I don’t know, but this I do, no food was taken last night from hedgehog box and still upset to think it may be sweet, funny, gentle Heidi who has met her end. Thanks for your support, best wishes.

    Hi Annker

Sorry to hear about your problem with the dogs. It’s very upsetting when something like that happens. Fingers crossed the hogs come back, and hopefully learn to avoid those gardens.

    Oh Annker,
So sorry to hear this terribly sad news and understand how upsetting this must be for you.
Sadly we all do our best with the HH’s and then something sad will happen but we have to
Stay strong and keep doing what we can. Every little bit DOES help.
