The hog seems to understand that the screaming children and barking dog is of no danger:

Earlier when children were close and the dog passed by it got a bit scared.

Typical hedgehog, Jens, tipping the dish over!

I had eaten and drunk and I was about to leave when it came back. The tippable ´dish was just to carry the food outdoor. The one for water is heavy. Now when it has been very dry i put the food in a tight ring around the water so it will really notice the water.

I will go and check my automat that is designed to give chicks water. People say it can be used by hedgehogs, but maybe it is too narrow and deep. The water level has not sunken like predicted if it would have been widely used. It is well camoflaged for people in a scrubbery.
