With the cutest hog, who has moved into the igloo in my garden. He/she has been busy building a nest with the hay I have been leaving out. Every night they come out of the igloo, visit the feeding box eats every scrap of food in there, takes a bundle more hay into the nest and then retires back to the igloo for the night.

He or she is a very good size and from the close ups I get on the camera I cant see any visible ticks.

A very handsome, healthy looking hog and I’m so doing a happy dance that they have honoured my garden with visit for however long it may ask. I am one lucky lady.

    Hi Jackietb

Really glad to hear that you have a hog in your garden and that it’s doing well. It is lovely watching them taking nesting materials in to build their nests! If the hog decides to hibernate, fingers crossed for a successful hibernation. Some decide not to hibernate, in which case just keep feeding and providing water.

Good luck and happy hog watching!
