    I’ve seen only one hedgehog but it (and maybe its friends) eats the food I put out every night. Bury St. Edmunds Oct 2018

    That’s lovely to hear. They might be disappearing soon to hibernate, but I would keep leaving food out for a while after you have last seen any. Some hedgehogs don’t hibernate at all, so some people leave some food out all winter. It’s a good idea to at least leave water available all day every day, including during winter.

    I’ve got 2 visiting my garden, one in the front garden and one in the back. The one in the back garden is sleeping in the hog house I put out there and is eating a lot. The one from the front garden is also visiting every night and eating a lot.
