I’ve been encouraging hedgehogs into the garden for the last couple of years.
I seem to spend half my evenings watching their antics!!!!
Last year I had two or three and then a couple of young ones. Later in the summer another two appeared, which was worrying as it was quite late for them to survive. I had made a feeding station for them but have had to provide another and they’re eating me out of house and home!!!!!
They all started appearing around March this year 2021 and at most have had 5 at same time. There is however an awful lot of scrapping going on, snorting and shoving. Probably a fair bit of flirting too.
Hoping to get more babies soon:)

    Hi georgie3

Sounds like you must be doing something right! You are lucky to have had hoglets there. Yes, they are endlessly fascinating to watch – who needs TV! Fingers crossed for more hoglets this year.

Good luck and happy hog watching!
