We have had our hedgehog visiting us every evening for six weeks or more. We leave hedgehog food and water out for him. He arrives between around 20.30 and 22.00. Last Sunday evening he brought a friend to share the food. On occasions we have found him during the day time tucked up in some shrubs fast asleep. For the first time my hostas haven’t been reduced to lace probably thanks to the gedgehog. We did sight one last year and thought he may be around again this Spring when we saw droppings.

    Hi Kathryn

So nice to hear that your hog visitor brought a friend to share the food. Hopefully more will follow. Glad to hear the hostas are benefitting! You probably are already, but if not, please make sure you leave water out for them 24 hours a day in case they wake up thirsty.

Good luck with the hogs. Let us know if you see any hoglets.
