Self anointing…

We have several hedgehogs visiting our garden on an evening and over night. I recently videoed one self anointing. We have a feeding station and provide dry kitten food and water – this seems to suit our visitors.

You are lucky managing to get some footage of self annointing (although haven’t actually watched it – have to be a bit careful with broadband and it seems it needed to be downloaded). When a hog here self annointed the camera managed to miss the whole thing! Lucky I was actually watching at the time.
