    Hi Widget04

Seeing a hedgehog out in the open during the morning can be bad news for the hedgehog. Especially in a car park. It might need help. If you see it again, please ring BHPS on 01584 890801 for advice. They will be able to put you in contact with your nearest hedgehog carer/rehabilitator.

In the meantime, you can help the hedgehogs by providing them with sources of water. Wide but shallow plant saucers are ideal for this. They can become dehydrated quite easily in this hot dry weather. Is there a garden there as well? If so, the hedgehogs might welcome a little supplementary feeding in the form of cat food.
