We have two quite small babies we are feeding every night but are very concerned that despite our help they may be still too small to hibernate safely, is there anything we can do about this?

    Hi Pupbelly

    Can I refer you to:

If the little ones look too small, the best thing to do is to weigh them. I would recommend contacting your local hedgehog rehabilitators before you do, to make sure there is somewhere you can take them and they will also be more aware of your local weather conditions. You can get the number of the nearest ones from BHPS 01584 890801.

    Good luck.
