We’ve had a hedgehog visit us most evenings and eat/drink from a little hedgehog hut we made.

Our camera has picked up 2 coming to visit recently. On the first occasion, the bigger hedgehog just froze, almost like they were trying not to be noticed (both were in the hut).

Then last night, the camera picked up the smaller one huffing/sniffing loudly at the bigger one.

Does anyone know what this behaviour is all about? Hopefully the video link below works.

Haven’t seen the video but it sounds like classic courting behaviour. If one is circling the other then that is the male circling the female.
It could also be fighting over food if they are going head to head
