target building companies!

Hello everyone. Ive emailed three bulding companies doing huge new estates locally asking them to do the one simple task of a cd size hole in all fences as they put them up which will cost them absolutely nothing. Guess what? One automated reply and nothing else! Unbelievable. Linden, Bovis and Devonhomes. So Im going to email again today with a phone call. Gradually going to up the anti! My intention is, if I am ignored or its negative, to involve the local press and tv. Would anyone else like to do the same? Done alongside the petition obviously. But so many houses are going up each day we need to get this done as a matter of urgency. Ive had signs made to put up on our country lane here saying Slow. Hedgehogs. So Im hoping the press might be interested if its a slow news day! Carolyn

What is your local council policy on environmental issues?
It may be these developers may have agreed to do this as part of getting permission. Failure to do so should be reported to the council too.
