We are new to the group, we have had Hedgehogs visit our garden for about the last 30 years, we have various “Hogiloo’s” around the garden, that look like they have been occupied (there are little paths trodden in the mud/leaves) and we see them anointing themselves in our Labradors urine, every night about 10pm ish….we also feed them “Spiky” food, peanuts and leave out water. As we are just about to put up new fencing I was interested to know what size hole to leave so they can continue to visit

Hi Annew, welcome, we have 4.5 ins holes in our feeding stations and in our new wall we have made a 5in hole,all our hogs come and go with no trouble,as long as you don’t go less than 4ins in case you get a monster hog,which we’ve had,you should be ok.
