I have recently noticed worms in a younger hedgehog’s poo. Should I give it a wormer (like a cat/dog)? If so what type and dose is recommended?

    Hi Moyna

You need to contact your local hedgehog carer/rehabilitator. Treating hedgehogs for internal parasites needs to be left to an expert.

You can get contact details of your nearest carers/rehabilitators by ringing BHPS on 01584 890801.

Well done for spotting there is a problem. Good luck to the little hog.
