Our new State of Britain’s Hedgehogs 2022 report has found that hedgehogs in the countryside are continuing to decline, but appear to be stabilising and showing signs of recovery in urban areas. With the continued support of over 100,000 amazing Hedgehog Champions, we believe that Hedgehog Street, along with local hedgehog conservation groups all over the UK, are having an impact. There’s never been a more important time to help our hedgehogs with wildlife-friendly gardens and community action!
