Hi everyone. I have recently seen on one of my wildlife cameras one – maybe two -hedgehogs which I’m delighted about! I would love to put food out for them BUT I have a phobia about rats (I know they are all god’s creatures, but I cant help it, lol!) Any advice you can give me about feeding the hogs but not attracting rats?

    Hi MagsAyr

Probably the food rats are most likely to leave is wet cat or dog food. Which should be o.k. if you don’t have lots of cats around. But don’t forget that hogs also need water – although unfortunately rats might share that.

There are some links of posts about rats in this post:

    Good luck.
