    That’s such good news that Bramble is coming home! Well done Bramble, well done the Rescue Lady and well done you for finding help for Bramble.

    I hope the release goes well. I expect he’ll soon realise that he’s home. But, yes, I know what you mean, being nervous and excited at the same time.

    Well, Bramble is back home and I released him last night. It was a nice evening for his release and all went well. He did briefly explore the new house I’d put out for him, but came back out and disappeared into the undergrowth. I’d put in a small amount of his bedding from his box at the rescue inside to try and encourage him, so don’t know whether he’ll use it. It’s there for him anyway. I left some food out in the usual spots.

    He was 378g when I took him in and 680g when I collected him last night. I didn’t see him again but will keep a lookout every night to hopefully watch his progress.
